The Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) has expressed approval of the recent trade agreement between the United States and the European Union. This development was announced by U.S. President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Jason Oxman, ITI President and CEO, commented on the significance of this economic relationship. "The EU-U.S. economic relationship is critically important to millions of workers, businesses of all sizes, and diverse sectors on both sides of the Atlantic," he said.
Oxman emphasized the positive impact of the deal, noting that it helps open markets and reduce trade tensions. "We’re pleased to see the U.S. and EU find a path forward to help open markets, deescalate trade frictions, and reach a successful deal that will restore business stability," he said.
He also mentioned ITI's intention to engage further with both governments. "We look forward to reviewing the details and engaging with both governments to strengthen the transatlantic relationship," Oxman added.
