U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested several individuals identified as criminal illegal aliens, with convictions including child rape, sexual abuse, assault, armed robbery, and human trafficking. The arrests are part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to protect communities in the United States.
One case involved Mohammed Sesay from Sierra Leone, who was convicted in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, of second-degree rape and a second-degree sex offense. Court documents state that Sesay repeatedly raped an 11-year-old girl over five months in 2014 and threatened her life if she disclosed the abuse. The crimes came to light after a family member discovered the situation following an assault at a gathering. ICE officers subsequently arrested Sesay for removal proceedings.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin commented on these cases: “What these innocent children had to endure is horrifying: a criminal illegal alien raping an 11-year-old child 15 different times; a pedophile; innocent children who were struck and injured by an illegal alien driving drunk, sending one child to intensive care. These criminals should have never been in this country in the first place and these children should have never been victimized,” said McLaughlin. “Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, this Department is putting the safety of Americans first. Thanks to ICE, these monsters are in custody and will be removed from our communities.”
Other recent arrests include Alex Ventura from El Salvador, convicted of intoxicated assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury in Harris County, Texas. Local reports indicate Ventura drove a box truck while intoxicated into a car stopped at a red light, causing a four-car crash that injured six children—one of whom required intensive care due to a fractured skull.
Additional individuals taken into custody include Pablo Tahay-Par from Guatemala, convicted of unlawful contact with a minor involving sexual offenses in Pennsylvania; Jose David Contreras-Sierra from Venezuela with multiple felony convictions including armed robbery and drug distribution in Rockville, Maryland; and Deibe Ramos-Rodriguez from the Dominican Republic for alien smuggling in Corpus Christi, Texas.
These actions reflect ICE’s continued enforcement against individuals convicted of violent crimes or offenses involving minors.
