A Niagara Falls resident has been sentenced to more than eight years in federal prison for drug offenses. Jermaine McQueen, 47, received a 106-month sentence from U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara after being convicted of possession with intent to distribute at least 40 grams of fentanyl.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy C. Lynch, authorities executed search warrants on August 28, 2024, at multiple locations connected to McQueen. They found about 405 grams of cocaine, roughly 300 grams of fentanyl, and six grams of crack cocaine. In addition to the drugs, investigators seized packaging materials, $10,625 in cash, and several pieces of jewelry believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking. The investigation also included controlled purchases of fentanyl and cocaine from McQueen.
