The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has released the transcript of Alex Acosta’s interview regarding the federal government’s actions in the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases.

The Committee also made public letters from former U.S. Attorneys General Eric Holder and Merrick Garland, and former FBI Director James Comey. All three stated, under penalty of 18 U.S.C. § 1001, that they had no knowledge or information relevant to the Committee’s investigation.

In addition, new records from the Epstein estate have been published, with a backup available for review.

James Comer, who has represented Kentucky’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2016, currently leads the Committee. Comer previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives and is a graduate of Western Kentucky University.

A statement from Chairman Comer regarding Acosta’s interview is also available.
