Sens. Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, both Republicans from Texas and members of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, have expressed their support for President Trump's nomination of Nicholas Ganjei to serve as District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

Sen. Cruz highlighted Ganjei's previous work as his Chief Counsel, stating, “Nick served as my Chief Counsel for three years, during which he oversaw vital initiatives on criminal justice, border security, judicial nominations, antitrust issues, intellectual property, and religious liberty. He will be tireless in advancing President Trump’s agenda, judicial integrity, and conservative principles. I am proud of Nick, and this nomination by President Trump is a strong testament to Nick’s values, integrity, and professionalism.”

Sen. Cornyn also commented on the nomination: “I congratulate Nicholas Ganjei on his nomination from President Trump to serve as a federal judge in the Houston division of the Southern District of Texas. Nick will bring a wealth of experience to his new role, and I look forward to seeing him continue to uphold our nation’s principles as a judge once confirmed.”
