The House Committee on Education and Workforce, led by Chairman Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI), is scheduled to review three bills in a markup session on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. The session will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The committee will consider H.R. 2870, known as the Working Families Flexibility Act; H.R. 2312, the Tipped Employee Protection Act; and H.R. 2299, titled the Ensuring Workers Get PAID Act of 2025.

According to the committee's announcement, these bills are intended to expand flexibility for families, increase earnings for tipped workers, and address payroll errors so that workers receive their pay more quickly.

Chairman Walberg stated that the markup "is open to the press and will be live-streamed on the Committee’s YouTube page."
