The House Committee on the Budget has announced it will hold a "Member Day Hearing" on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 10:15 AM. The hearing is scheduled to take place in Room 210 of the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, D.C.
According to the committee, hearings and markups will be available live through their social media channels, official website, or YouTube page. Due to limited seating in the hearing room, members of the public are encouraged to view the proceedings via a live webcast. The webcast will become available once the hearing begins.
The committee has specified that oral testimony during this session will be provided by invited witnesses only. However, individuals or organizations not scheduled for an oral appearance have the opportunity to submit written statements for consideration and inclusion in the printed record of the hearing. Submissions should be sent as Microsoft Word documents to Ryan.Bailey@mail.house.gov by close of business on Friday, December 5th.
The committee outlined several formatting requirements for written submissions. All materials must be included in a single document not exceeding ten pages and submitted electronically. Each submission must also list all clients or organizations represented by the witness and include contact information within the email body while excluding personally identifiable information from attachments. Non-compliance with these guidelines may result in exclusion from the printed record; however, such submissions will still be maintained in committee files.
For those needing accommodations due to disabilities, advance notice is requested—at least 48 hours prior to the event—by calling 202-226-7270. Questions about accessibility or requests for alternative formats can also be directed to this number.
