House Small Business Committee schedules hearing on crime impact for small businesses

The House Committee on Small Business is set to hold a hearing titled “Main Street Under Attack: The Cost of Crime on Small Businesses” on Tuesday, December 2, at 10:00 AM ET. The session will take place in the Hearing Room at 2360 Rayburn House Office Building.

The purpose of the hearing is to examine how increasing crime rates are affecting small business operations and success. Witnesses scheduled to testify include Tom Wickham, Vice President and Managing Director of Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Lisa Plaggemier, Executive Director of the National Cybersecurity Alliance; Hrag Kalebjian, owner of Henry’s House of Coffee; and Hon. Gregory Jackson, Jr., founder and owner of Safer Futures LLC.

The committee hearing is open to the public and will also be available for viewing online through the Committee’s YouTube channel.
