A spokesperson stated, "We encourage political leaders, civil society, and the international community to support Haiti’s restoration of political stability."
The United States has expressed anticipation for an upcoming conference on December 9 in New York. The event will bring together Haiti’s partners with the aim of generating force contributions for the Gang Suppression Force. According to U.S. officials, this initiative is critical for improving security in Haiti and addressing violence by criminal and terrorist gangs.
