House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has praised President Donald Trump and his administration for what he described as a high level of transparency following the release of President Trump's advanced imaging results by his physician, Dr. Sean Barbarella.

“President Trump and his administration continue to be the most transparent administration in history. I applaud President Trump’s physician for conducting a thorough examination and releasing the results to the public. This stands in sharp contrast to the Biden White House, where senior aides intervened in President Biden’s medical care and attempted to conceal his decline from the American people. Democrats, including Ranking Member Robert Garcia, misled the public by insisting President Biden was ‘sharp’ even as Americans witnessed his decline with their own eyes. Our report on the Biden Autopen Presidency exposed the biggest political scandal in U.S. history, and the Trump Administration is now taking action to bring accountability,” said Comer.

The statement comes after the committee released a staff report titled “The Biden Autopen Presidency: Decline, Delusion, and Deception in the White House.” The report alleges that top advisors, political operatives, and President Joe Biden's personal physician concealed information about his mental and physical health from the public. According to findings presented by the committee, some presidential decisions were carried out without direct authorization from President Biden. The report also points to alleged misuse of automated signature devices known as autopens and claims failures in documenting decision-making processes.

Following these findings, Chairman Comer sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi requesting that the Department of Justice review all executive actions taken during Biden's presidency and investigate several key aides—Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Annie Tomasini, and Anthony Bernal—who invoked their Fifth Amendment rights during committee proceedings. Comer also sent correspondence to the District of Columbia Board of Medicine asking for an inquiry into Dr. O’Connor’s actions regarding former President Biden's medical care.

Further details about this investigation are available on the Oversight Committee’s website.
