U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reported the arrest of several individuals across the United States who have been convicted of serious crimes such as child rape, sexual assault by a relative, armed robbery, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to ICE, its law enforcement officers continue to face increasing dangers in their work. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated, "Despite a more than 1,153% increase in assaults against our law enforcement officers, they continue to arrest the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens. Yesterday’s arrests include pedophiles, sexual predators, and armed robbers." She added, "Violence against our law enforcement will not slow us down from removing criminal illegal aliens from American neighborhoods."
The recent arrests included:
- Juan Ramos-Ramos from Honduras was convicted for offenses including sexual assault of a minor, aggravated criminal sexual contact, sexual assault by a relative, criminal sexual contact, sexual assault, and two counts of endangering in Hudson, New Jersey.
