A Deltona man has pleaded guilty to attempting to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida. Keiron Jashua Williams, 23, admitted guilt and now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in federal prison, with the possibility of a life sentence. The date for sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
According to court documents, the case began in June 2025 when an undercover detective from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office posed online as a 13-year-old girl. Williams initiated contact with this account and continued to communicate after learning he was speaking with someone he believed was underage. The conversations were sexually explicit.
On July 5, 2025, Williams was arrested after traveling to Marion County with the intent to meet the minor for sexual activity. Law enforcement officers found an unopened box of condoms, a video game system, and marijuana in his vehicle at the time of arrest.
The investigation was conducted by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations. Assistant United States Attorney Sarah Janette Swartzberg is prosecuting the case.
"This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
