U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) posted a series of messages on December 15, 2025, addressing issues related to border security and enforcement actions.
In an early morning post, CBP stated: "Rise and shine! Let's try not to cross into the United States illegally. If you do, we will catch, prosecute, and remove you." (December 15, 2025).
Later in the day, CBP shared a tweet containing only a link: "https://t.co/nyj9IpmJ1C" (December 15, 2025). The content of this link was not specified in the tweet itself.
In another post that afternoon, CBP referenced directives from President Biden to Tom Homan, former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement: "The three things @POTUS told @RealTomHoman. 1. Secure the border 2. Oversee the historic deportation operation 3. Find the missing children the Biden administration lost. In all of these areas, CBP is working in overdrive to save lives." (December 15, 2025).
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is responsible for securing America's borders and facilitating lawful international travel and trade as part of the Department of Homeland Security.
