At 23:30 UTC, CBP reported an incident involving an individual identified as a member of Venezuela's Tren de Aragua criminal group. According to the agency: "You'll never outrun us! A Venezuelan Tren de Aragua member crossed a six-lane street with heavy traffic in a failed attempt to run away from Border Patrol agents. He is currently awaiting processing and removal. Securing the borders and safeguarding the nation is our business,"
The CBP operates under the Department of Homeland Security as one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the United States, responsible for securing international land borders and coastal waters against illegal entry, trafficking, and other threats.
