ICE details arrests of three noncitizens with prior criminal histories in December

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced a series of arrests involving individuals identified as "criminal illegal aliens" from Mexico and Ecuador, according to official statements posted on December 23, 2025.

On December 18, ICE reported the arrest of Braulio Rosas-Ayala, describing him as a "criminal illegal alien from Mexico." The agency stated: "ICE arrested Braulio Rosas-Ayala, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, Dec. 18. His criminal history includes an arrest for RAPE & SODOMY." This information was shared by ICE on its official social media account on December 23.

In another post dated December 23, ICE disclosed the arrest of Cruz Sarinana-Castaneda on December 13. The agency wrote: "ICE arrested Cruz Sarinana-Castaneda, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, Dec. 13. His criminal history includes a conviction for AGGRAVATED INDECENT LIBERTIES WITH A CHILD and arrests for PROPERTY DAMAGE, RECKLESS DRIVING and FAILURE TO APPEAR."

Additionally, ICE announced the arrest of Alexander Orbes-Armendariz from Ecuador on December 15. According to the statement released by ICE: "ICE arrested Alexander Orbes-Armendariz, a criminal illegal alien from Ecuador, Dec. 15. His criminal history includes arrests for:

• DOMESTIC ASSAULT

• STRANGULATION

• ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

• RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT

• RESISTING ARREST"
