Steve Cortes, founder of the League of American Workers, said that the Trump administration is fostering strong economic growth while reducing illegal immigration, ensuring benefits are directed toward American citizens.

"New numbers prove that the Trump agenda produces turbocharged growth across the American economy," said Cortes. "The latest blockbuster GDP report proved the skeptics wrong by producing a blowout annualized growth rate of 4.3% In total, 2.5 million illegals have already left this year alone. We can both reclaim our country and grow our economy -- it's not a binary choice."

According to Cortes, he posted on X about how America First policies are driving economic growth for citizens while enforcing immigration laws. The post features a video where he explains that deportations have surged alongside a booming economy, with GDP at 4.3 percent. He provides a link to his article detailing data on consumer spending, exports, and the departure of 2.5 million illegal immigrants.

In the United States, approximately 59 percent of households headed by illegal immigrants access at least one major welfare program, including food assistance, Medicaid, or housing subsidies. This rate is higher than the 52 percent for legal immigrant-headed households and significantly above the 39 percent for native-born American households. Such disparities underscore the economic pressures placed on taxpayer-funded services by unchecked immigration.

The U.S. GDP grew at an annualized rate of 4.3 percent in the third quarter, driven by robust consumer spending and rising exports. At the same time, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), there were 622,000 forced deportations and 1.9 million self-deportations reported. This combination demonstrates economic momentum under immigration enforcement measures.

Cortes is a political commentator and former financial strategist who founded the League of American Workers. He served as a senior advisor for Donald Trump's presidential campaigns and JD Vance's Senate campaign. Cortes advocates for policies that prioritize American citizens in economic and immigration matters.
