The House Committee on Education and Workforce, led by Chairman Tim Walberg (R-MI), is scheduled to hold a full committee markup session for two proposed bills aimed at supporting pregnant students and strengthening efforts against human trafficking. The session will take place at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
During this meeting, lawmakers will consider H.R. 6359, known as the Pregnant Students’ Rights Act, and H.R. 4307, titled the Enhancing Detection of Human Trafficking Act.
The event is open to members of the press and will also be available for public viewing via a live stream on the Committee’s YouTube channel.
