The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced recent arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) targeting individuals described as "the worst of the worst" criminal illegal aliens. The arrests took place across the United States and involved people convicted of serious crimes, including murder, child cruelty, assault, and battery.
A DHS spokesperson stated, “President Trump and Secretary Noem unleashed ICE to target the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens. Yesterday, ICE arrested murderers, child abusers, and violent assailants. These are the type of thugs we are getting off the streets and out of our country every single day. 70% of all ICE arrests are of criminal illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the United States. Americans can see for themselves what criminals have been removed from their community at WOW.DHS.Gov.”
Among those arrested were Christian Mayorga-Rodriguez from Mexico, convicted of murder in Los Angeles County, California; Jose Garcia-Mendoza from Mexico, convicted of child cruelty with possible injury or death in Santa Maria, California; Hector Romero-Vanegas from El Salvador, convicted of assault in Riverhead, New York; Juan Perez-Diaz from Mexico, convicted of battery in Tampa, Florida; and Carlos Alonzo-Coc from Guatemala, who was convicted on five counts related to driving under the influence in Nebraska.
DHS encourages Americans to visit WOW.DHS.Gov for more information about individuals arrested in their communities.
