Senate HELP Committee schedules hearing on retirement system improvements

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The session will focus on ways Congress can use the experience of the Railroad Retirement Board to improve the American retirement system.

The hearing, titled "On Track for Secure Retirement: Examining the Success of the Railroad Retirement Board," will take place at 10:00 AM ET in room 430 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The event is open to members of the press who are asked to RSVP through their respective press galleries.

A live stream of the hearing will be available for those unable to attend in person.
