Caleb Chainey Hensley, a 26-year-old resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine. The plea was entered in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
According to the indictment, Hensley distributed 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, on May 13, 2024. The offense carries a potential sentence ranging from ten years to life in prison and a fine of up to $10 million.
The case resulted from an investigation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson accepted Hensley's guilty plea and ordered a presentence investigation report. Sentencing will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
Hensley remains in custody with the United States Marshals Service while awaiting sentencing.
