Dandre Eric Davis, a 31-year-old Maryland resident and employee at Luke C. Moore Opportunities Academy in Washington, D.C., has been charged with distribution of child pornography, according to an announcement by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro.

Court documents indicate that beginning January 12, 2026, Davis communicated with another user on an online dating application about his sexual interest in minors. Over the course of a week, Davis described himself as a “kinky perv” and expressed interest in children aged 7 to 15 years old. The conversations later shifted to Telegram, an encrypted messaging platform, where Davis distributed two videos depicting sexual acts involving prepubescent boys.

FBI Assistant Director in Charge Darren B. Cox of the Washington Field Office joined U.S. Attorney Pirro in making the announcement.

The FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force is investigating the case, while Assistant United States Attorney Richard Kelley is prosecuting it.

This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, a Department of Justice initiative started in February 2006 aimed at protecting children from online exploitation and abuse. The program brings together federal, state, and local resources to locate and prosecute individuals who exploit children online and to identify victims. More information about Project Safe Childhood can be found at www.projectsafechildhood.gov.
