The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has opened applications for its 2026 Good Neighbor Awards, which recognize real estate agents who show dedication to volunteer service and have a lasting impact on their communities.

“Service is at the heart of what it means to be a REALTOR,” said NAR President Kevin Brown. “The Good Neighbor Awards recognize members who strengthen neighborhoods, support families and help communities thrive through volunteer service. We are excited to see the nominations and celebrate the impact REALTORS are making every day.”

Five winners will each receive a $10,000 grant for their nonprofit organization and will be honored in November at NAR NXT, The REALTOR Experience, in New Orleans. Five additional honorable mentions will each receive a $2,500 grant.

Since its inception in 2000, the program has recognized over 260 REALTORS for their volunteer work and contributed more than $1.5 million to organizations led by REALTORS. Past recipients have made an impact across 43 states, Puerto Rico, and 17 other countries. According to the 2025 NAR Member Profile, about 68% of REALTORS participate in community volunteering—twice as much as typical Americans.

“The Good Neighbor Awards powerfully showcase the true heart of community commitment and the profound difference dedication achieves,” said Anna Marie Castiglioni, Head of Realtor.com Next. “Realtor.com is deeply inspired by the passion of these REALTORS. We are proud to again be the primary sponsor of the Good Neighbor Awards, championing these worthy charities and amplifying the incredible impact these REALTORS create—an impact that reaches far beyond bringing people home.”

Realtor.com continues as both primary sponsor of this award program and ongoing supporter of NAR’s REALTORS Relief Foundation; it also sponsors the Fair Housing Champion Award.

Applications must be submitted by April 10, 2026. Eligible nominees must be NAR members in good standing who have made significant contributions as volunteers with a qualifying nonprofit organization. Further details on eligibility criteria can be found at nar.realtor/gna or by calling 800-874-6500.
