The NFIB Texas PAC, made up of members from the National Federation of Independent Business in Texas, has endorsed Governor Greg Abbott for a fourth term. The announcement was made on February 3, 2026.
NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett said, “Governor Greg Abbott has been a strong friend to small business owners. Throughout his time as Governor, Greg Abbott has done an outstanding job to ensure Texas remains the best state in the union to own, operate, and grow a small business. His record speaks for itself: Governor Abbott has consistently sought to reduce regulations, cut taxes, and promote greater economic opportunity for all Texans."
Burdett added that he is proud to announce the endorsement on behalf of nearly 20,000 NFIB members across Texas.
Governor Abbott responded by saying, “Small businesses are the backbone of the Texas economy, and the National Federation of Independent Businesses represents the entrepreneurs who power that success. By cutting taxes, reducing regulations, and defending free enterprise, Texas has created an environment where small businesses can grow, hire, and compete. Working together, we will advance policies that keep Texas the best state in the nation to start and grow a business.”
The endorsement from NFIB Texas PAC is expected to bring significant grassroots support from small business owners throughout the state. The organization plans to encourage its members to participate actively in turning out voters during Election Day.
