Under Secretary DiNanno visits Switzerland and Israel for disarmament talks

Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Thomas G. DiNanno is set to visit Geneva, Switzerland, and Tel Aviv, Israel, from February 5 to 10, 2026.

During his time in Geneva on February 6, DiNanno will speak at the United Nations Conference on Disarmament. In addition to his address, he plans to meet with various allies and partners to discuss topics that are important to all parties involved.

Following this, DiNanno will travel to Tel Aviv on February 8. There he will lead a joint team from the Department of State and the Department of War for discussions as part of the Joint Political Military Group Dialogue with Israeli officials. The Under Secretary also intends to tour several military sites in Israel in order to observe how national security cooperation between the United States and Israel is implemented.
