Later, on February 8, 2026, CBP detailed a large-scale narcotics interdiction in international waters involving its Air and Marine Operations division. The tweet read: "SMOKE SHOW: @CBPAMO Agents coordinated with international partners to take down 7,000 lbs. of marijuana in international waters. An Air and Marine Operations MQ-9 crew spotted the go-fast type vessel loaded with narcotics. The interdiction resulted in the seizure of over 3,000"
