U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Laredo Port of Entry recently apprehended a man wanted in Louisiana on a felony warrant related to alleged incest charges.

On January 9, CBP officers at the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge identified Francisco Servin, a 60-year-old U.S. citizen, as a possible match to an outstanding arrest warrant. Officers referred him for secondary inspection and used biometric verification to confirm his identity and the active warrant issued by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office in Slidell, Louisiana. The original charge dates back to 2021 and involves alleged incest with a minor. Servin was transported to Webb County jail for further processing.

Port Director Alberto Flores of the Laredo Port of Entry commented on the situation: “Our frontline officers maintain strict vigilance, deal with a variety of situations and encountering travelers wanted on charges of a sexual nature involving one’s own family are among the most heinous scenarios we encounter,” he said. “Apprehensions like these perfectly illustrate our efforts to keep our communities safe.”

CBP is recognized as America’s largest law enforcement organization and serves as the nation’s unified border management agency. With more than 67,000 personnel, CBP is responsible for protecting U.S. borders on land, air, and sea while enforcing laws that ensure safe travel and trade.
