Jess Moore has joined the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) as Vice President of Legislative Affairs, according to an announcement from the organization. Moore was previously with GE Aerospace, where she served as Senior Director of Global Government Relations. In her new role, she will lead AIA’s legislative strategy and help advance policy priorities and advocacy efforts.
Eric Fanning, AIA President and CEO, commented on Moore’s appointment: “Jess has already proven herself an invaluable partner to the Aerospace Industries Association and a powerful advocate for our industry. She brings a rare mix of deep policy expertise and industry experience — she’s strategic, she’s trusted, and she knows how to get results. Her leadership will strengthen our voice at a moment when the stakes for U.S. aerospace and defense have never been higher.”

At GE Aerospace, she managed relationships with both Congress and the Executive Branch on issues such as trade, export controls, supply chain policy, as well as defense and commercial sales. Before joining GE Aerospace, Moore worked at Textron Inc. as Director of International Security Cooperation.
Her public-sector experience includes serving at the U.S. Department of State as Acting Assistant Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary of House Affairs.
