Of the 97 legislative candidates endorsed by the NFIB Texas PAC, 95 won their primary races, according to a statement released after the recent Primary Election. The NFIB Texas PAC also endorsed Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Gov. Greg Abbott for re-election.

NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett thanked voters for supporting candidates who back small businesses. “On behalf of our small business owner members across the state, I want to thank Texas’ primary election voters for supporting these pro-small business candidates,” Burdett said. “Texas remains one of the best places to own, operate, and grow a small business, thanks in large part to our practical approach to governing. Each of these candidates understands that our state economy is strongest when small businesses can succeed. As we look to November, it’s clear Texans appreciate these candidates and their support for Main Street.”

The high rate of success among endorsed candidates reflects continued voter support for policies favorable to small businesses in Texas.
