Senate Energy Committee schedules hearing on bulk power system for March 25

The U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources announced on Mar. 24 its schedule for the upcoming week, including a full committee hearing to examine the state of the bulk power system.

The hearing is set for Wednesday, March 25, at 9:30 am. According to the committee, the session will be webcast live on its website, with an archived video and witness testimony available online after the event concludes.

Witnesses scheduled to appear include The Honorable Todd Snitchler, President and CEO of Electric Power Supply Association; Mr. Travis Fisher, Director of Energy and Environmental Policy Studies at Cato Institute; and Dr. Liza Reed, Director of Climate and Energy Policy at Niskanen Center.
