House Committee on Small Business announces April hearing schedule

The House Committee on Small Business announced its hearing schedule for April, according to a statement released on Mar. 31.

The hearings are set to address key issues impacting small businesses, including tax policy, the gig economy, and digital assets. These topics have been highlighted as important for entrepreneurs and small business owners navigating an evolving economic landscape.

The first full committee hearing is titled “Lower Taxes, Stronger Main Street: The Benefits of the Working Families Tax Cuts” and will take place on Wednesday, April 15 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time in Hearing Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

A second full committee hearing, “Independent Work, Real Opportunity: The Gig Economy and the Future of Entrepreneurship,” is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m., also in Hearing Room 2360.

Additionally, the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Workforce Development Subcommittee will hold a hearing called “Main Street Meets Crypto: What Digital Assets Mean for Small Businesses” on Wednesday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. in the same location.
