Chair Joni Ernst announced on Mar. 31 that Zeb’s Smokehouse has been recognized as the Small Business of the Week. This recognition is part of her ongoing effort to highlight a small business in each of Iowa’s 99 counties during this session of Congress.
The award aims to showcase businesses that contribute to their local communities and reflect the entrepreneurial spirit present in rural America. "Zeb’s Smokehouse represents the very best of Iowa’s entrepreneurial spirit. By turning their dream into reality, Zeb and Andrea created a business that serves farmers, feeds families, and strengthens rural America," said Chair Ernst. She added, "Through strong relationships with local farmers and producers, this small business knows how to meatthe needs of their community."
Since its founding in 2015, Zeb’s Smokehouse has developed from an idea into a trusted wild game processing operation that also provides locally raised beef and pork products. The company focuses on farm-to-table service and works closely with area farmers and livestock producers to support family traditions in rural life.
