Jonathan D. Ross U.S. Attorney | U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas
Jena Marie Osborn, a resident of Jacksonville, was sentenced on April 1 to 20 years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The announcement was made by Jonathan D. Ross, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
The case highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to combat large-scale drug trafficking and related offenses. Osborn is currently serving a state prison sentence for possession of drug paraphernalia and will begin her federal sentence after completing her current term.
According to the United States Attorney's Office, Osborn pleaded guilty on November 4, 2025, after being charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. She also received five years of supervised release following her incarceration. There is no parole in the federal system.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) began investigating Osborn in May 2025 using a confidential source who arranged controlled purchases of over a pound of methamphetamine from Osborn on two occasions. On June 5, agents observed Osborn leaving a suspected stash house before she was stopped by Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputies. A K9 unit alerted officers during the traffic stop, leading them to discover several bags containing what was later confirmed as over half a kilogram of methamphetamine.
Osborn has multiple prior felony convictions related to drugs and firearms and is classified as a career offender subject to an enhanced sentence. Her criminal history includes convictions for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug premises, exposing children to illegal substances, and fleeing from law enforcement.
The investigation involved cooperation between the DEA and Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Reese Lancaster.
