News Release: Austin, TX - House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul sent a letter to Katrina Fotovat, Senior Bureau Official of the Office of Global Women’s Issues at the U.S. Department of State to conduct oversight over the State Department’s response to the Taliban’s repression of women and girls in Afghanistan in the wake of the disastrous withdrawal last year.
