Fire Restrictions Lessen on Coos Bay District

News Release: NORTH BEND, Ore. - Due to reduced fire danger, the Bureau of Land Management Coos Bay District officials are reducing the public use restrictions on BLM-managed lands in southwest Oregon.


Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center hours reduced, tours temporarily suspended

News Release: HUNGRY HORSE, Mont. - The Bureau of Reclamation will reduce the hours of operation at the Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center for the 2022 summer season. Beginning Oct. 9, the visitor center will be open Thursday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mountain Time and the outdoor, guided walking tour will be suspended until May 2023. The visitor center is closed on federal holidays.

News Release: Grants Pass, Ore. - The Bureau of Land Management Grants Pass Field Office has lifted most of the public land closure areas caused by the Rum Creek Fire; however, several locations require long-term recovery and will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
