Listeria monocytogenes can cause severe infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. While healthy individuals might experience only short-term symptoms like fever and nausea, it can lead to miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
Consumers are advised not to consume these products. They should dispose of them or return them to the store for a refund.
