Louisville CBP Seize Over $260M in Counterfeits & More Than 21,000 Pounds of Narcotics in Fiscal Year 2022

During a 12-month timeframe, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Louisville have seized thousands and thousands of packages that contain counterfeit items, agricultural pests, or narcotics shipped from criminals in the U.S. and overseas. In fiscal year 2022, which ran from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022, CBP officers in Louisville intercept more than $260 million worth of various counterfeit goods, over 21,000 pounds of illicit drugs and stopped over 10,500 prohibited plants and animal products from entering the U.S.
