News Release: The McGregor Mountain Fire is now contained following a strong initial attack and continued work by park firefighters and North Cascades Smokejumpers. Helicopter support included approximately 1,000 gallons of water throughout the day Thursday, continuing into Friday operations. The McGregor Mountain Trail and Heaton Camp are now open.
