Trucking Company Owner Indicted For Failing To Pay FICA Taxes

News Release: MINNEAPOLIS-Earlier today in federal court in St. Paul, the owner of Dahl Trucking in Elmore, Minnesota, was indicted for avoiding payment of Federal Insurance Contribution Act (“FICA") taxes on the wages of his employees from 2007 through 2010. Marlin Dahl was specifically charged with 13 counts of failure to collect and pay over FICA taxes.


Lockport Man Convicted of Drug Conspiracy Charge

News Release: BUFFALO, N.Y.--U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Damian Ard 32, of Lockport, N.Y., pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny, to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, cocaine base. The charge carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of 40 years, a $5,000,000 fine, or both.


News Release: Tampa, Florida - U.S. District Judge James S. Moody, Jr. today sentenced Courtnee Brantley (Seffner) to 12 months and one day in federal prison for her felony conviction of misprision of felony. Brantley was found guilty of the crime by a federal jury on Jan. 16, 2013, following a second trial in the case. The first trial resulted in a hung jury.
