Weiser Man Sentenced For Conspiracy To Traffic Meth In Idaho

News Release: BOISE - Dawson Lee Moore, 60, of Weiser, was sentenced today in United States District Court to 36 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced. Dawson appeared today before Chief U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill at the federal courthouse in Boise. He pleaded guilty to the charge on January 4. Dawson is the twelfth defendant sentenced in the case.

Whittemore yesterday sentenced Oneil Marlon Martin, a/k/a David Lawrence Motta (33, Sarasota) to 66 months in federal prison for possessing with intent to distribute marijuana and possessing a firearm in furtherance of that drug trafficking crime. The court also ordered Martin to forfeit two firearms and assorted ammunition which were used, or intended to be used, to facilitate the offenses. Martin pleaded guilty on Jan. 3, 2013.
