Second Man Sentenced in Armed Robbery of Tampa Bank

News Release: Tampa, Florida - U.S. District Judge Charlene Edward Honeywell today sentenced Keverick Lavar Brown (27, Tampa) to eight years and nine months in federal prison for bank robbery and brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. The Court also ordered him to forfeit the high-capacity firearm used in the robbery. He pleaded guilty on Aug. 27, 2014.


News Release: DES MOINES, IA - Former Iowa resident Christina M. Pender and California resident Robert K. Taylor have pled guilty to defrauding insurance company AIG out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Taylor also pled guilty to making false statements to a financial institution involving a mortgage fraud scheme in California.
