News Release: The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that Robert Eldred, 57, of Barre, Vermont, was sentenced on Oct. 16, 2017, in United States District Court in Rutland, Vermont, to serve six (6) months in federal prison after his guilty plea to one count of possession of child pornography. U.S. District Judge Geoffrey W. Crawford also ordered Eldred to serve a five (5) year period of supervised release and to pay a $100 special assessment.

News Release: BOSTON - A Lawrence man pleaded guilty today in federal court in Boston to his role in a widespread heroin and fentanyl trafficking conspiracy operating in Lawrence.


News Release: Patrick Amen, 31, was sentenced in federal court Monday in Omaha, Nebraska, for receiving child pornography. Chief Judge Laurie Smith Camp sentenced Amen to 72 months’ imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. After his release from prison, amen will begin a five-year term of supervised release. He must also register as a sex offender.
