Cascade River Road Closed at Milepost 20

News Release: Sedro Woolley, WA- Cascade River Road remains closed at milepost 20, three miles before the Cascade Pass trailhead. Cascade River Road sustained a considerable amount of damage following the storms, heavy rains and flooding last winter. Crews are working to stabilize and repair the road and clear the debris, which will take a minimum of 2-3 weeks.

David Sommers, 62, was charged with smuggling turtles and submitting false records for a package shipped to Canada.
