Blader, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that David Tjader, 44, Maple, Wisconsin, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge William Conley to 84 months in federal prison for receiving child pornography. This term of imprisonment will be followed by 10 years of supervised release. Tjader pleaded guilty to this charge on March 20, 2018.

Seven Lakes Basin Backpacking Permits for July 9-20 Available in Person Beginning Day Before Trip

News Release: PORT ANGELES, WA - The administrative closure of the Seven Lakes Basin/High Divide area July 9 through July 20 is no longer in effect. Seven Lakes Basin is a quota area and permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis for backpacking trips during this timeframe.
