Erie Felon Charged with Violating Federal Fireams Laws

News Release: ERIE, Pa. - A resident of Erie, Pennsylvania has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Erie on a charge of violating federal firearms laws, United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced today.


News Release: Tampa, Florida - U.S. District Judge James D. Whittemore has sentenced Robert Sciolino (51, Bradenton) to 10 years in federal prison for receipt and possession of child pornography. The court also ordered Sciolino to pay $57,000 in restitution to the victims and forfeit six electronic devices that he used in the commission of the offense.


News Release: WASHINGTON - Zakaryia Abdin, 20, of Ladson, South Carolina, was sentenced yesterday to 20 years to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release for attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization. Abdin previously entered a guilty plea in August of 2018 and has remained in federal custody since his arrest by the FBI in March of 2017.
