Former Bank Employee Sentenced for Bank Theft

News Release: United States Attorney Joe Kelly announced that Erica File, 34, was sentenced today in federal court in Omaha for theft by a bank employee. The Honorable Laurie Smith Camp sentenced File to twelve months and one day of imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal prison system. After her release from prison, File will serve a five-year term of supervised release. File was also ordered to pay $12,143 in restitution to the bank, who reimbursed the unauthorized withdrawals.
