Help search for emerald ash borers during bark peeling workshop

News Release: BAR HARBOR, MAINE - The National Park Service and the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry are hosting an ash tree bark peeling workshop to search for an invasive forest insect pest, the emerald ash borer (EAB), on Wed, Dec 4 from 8:30 am until mid-afternoon. BLM Bakersfield to conduct prescribed burn at Carrizo Plain National Monument 

News Release: BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bureau of Land Management Bakersfield Field Office plans to conduct a 175-acre broadcast, prescribed burn in the northern section of the Carrizo Plain National Monument on Wed., Dec. 4, depending on weather and air quality conditions.
