Minneapolis Sex Offender Found Guilty Of Child Pornography Offenses

MacDonald today announced JOHN EDWIN KUHNEL, 40, was convicted on nine counts of receipt of child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography. KUHNEL was found guilty following a two-day bench trial before Chief Judge John R. Tunheim in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis, Minnesota. KUHNEL will be sentenced at a later date.


Kankakee Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Role in Armed Robbery of Champaign Sprint Store

News Release: URBANA, Ill. - Senior U.S. District Judge Michael M. Mihm today sentenced Andre L. Williams, 30, of Kankakee, Ill., to 10 years in prison for his role in the July 2016 armed robbery of a Champaign Sprint store. Williams has been in the custody of the U.S. Marshals since his arrest in October 2018, and will be transferred to the federal Bureau of Prisons to serve his sentence.
