News Release: MARQUETTE, MICHIGAN - Jonathan Collins, 41 years old, was sentenced on July 10, 2020, to serve 324 months’ imprisonment by U.S. District Judge Paul L. Maloney. Collins pled guilty in December 2019 to possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine. Upon his release, Collins will be subject to 5 years of supervision.


Voyageurs National Park Reminds Visitors To Be Bear Aware

News Release: INTERNATIONAL FALLS, MN: Voyageurs National Park has seen an increase in black bear activity at campsites throughout the park. Multiple factors can play into why bears are more active this time of year such as dry conditions creating a lack of available food source and the potential of an increase in visitor activity in the park.
