Ambro, of Delaware, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit, Kermit Bye, of North Dakota, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Eighth Circuit, George B. Daniels, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York, Joel A. Pisano, to be United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey, and Fredric D. Woocher, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California, after the nominees testified and answered questions in their own behalf.
