At the request of Mr. Leahy, the name of the Senator from California

(Mrs. Boxer) was added as a cosponsor of S. 1828, a bill to amend subchapter III of chapter 83 and chapter 84 of title 5, United States Code, to include Federal prosecutors within the definition of a law enforcement officer, and for other purposes.

At the request of Mr. Miller, the name of the Senator from Virginia

(Mr. Allen) was added as a cosponsor of S. 2581, a bill to conduct a study on the effectiveness of ballistic imaging technology and evaluate its effectiveness as a law enforcement tool.

s. 3058

At the request of Mr. Bingaman, the name of the Senator from Missouri

(Mrs. Carnahan) was added as a cosponsor of S. 3058, a bill to amend the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000 to provide benefits for contractor employees of the Department of Energy who were exposed to toxic substances at Department of Energy facilities, to provide coverage under subtitle B of that Act for certain additional individuals, to establish an ombudsman and otherwise reform the assistance provided to claimants under that Act, and for other purposes.
